A seventeen year-old sign company that actually first got started twenty-five years ago!  Back when sign making was a long, completely hand-made, and painstaking process, founder and owner, Brian Banister started in business under a different name with his now late father, Tom.  They worked together in a small shop making every sign their customers ordered without the help of computers and innovation that is used today.

Having an eye for design and artistic ability, Brian continued to grow the business and their client list gradually.  He attended trade shows and seminars and learned the ins and outs of the sign business.  As technology evolved over the years with vinyl plotters, printers and CNC routers, we were able to expand our capabilities and improve our efficiency and turnaround times.  

With years of hands on experience in all aspects of the sign industry - design, fabrication, and installation, we have the knowledge needed to guide and help our customers with making the right decisions when it comes to their sign needs.  Craftsmanship and innovation has led to where we are today.

Brian started Hunt Valley Signs & Designs on his own in Cockeysville and incorporated in 1993.  In 1996 his wife, Debbie, came on board to help with the day-to-day operations, administrative duties and customer assistance.  After outgrowing our space on York Road in 1999, we moved to our current location on Beaver Dam Road.  With over 4,000 square feet of production space and a large drive-in bay, we can better serve our customers needs with room to grow.

Hard work to meet our customers’ needs and deadlines is a big reason we have a long-standing customer base in our area. Our satisfied clients are the benchmark of our success.  Moving to the future, additions and improvements to equipment, software upgrades and a continued quest for excellence serves as assurance to our customers that we will be here for them.
